DevOps Engineer

Ingolstadt,

Responsibilities

• Design, implement,
  and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Develop
  Python-based automation tools, scripts, and workflow frameworks to improve
  engineering efficiency.
• Manage source control systems, including Git
  repositories, branching strategies, code integration, and access controls.
• Administer
  and support GitHub environments, including repository configuration,
  self-hosted runners, and workflow automation.
• Maintain and optimize build systems using
  CMake and support complex software build environments.
• Provision, configure,
  and manage virtual machines and cloud infrastructure, including Azure VM
  environments.
• Automate infrastructure, image creation, and deployment processes
  using DevOps and cloud orchestration tools.
• Implement code quality checks,
  security scanning, automated testing, and release validation within pipelines.
• Collaborate
  with software, DevOps, and functional engineering teams to improve development
  and delivery workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment,
  infrastructure, and automation issues while promoting best practices for
  reliability and reproducibility
  
  

Requirements

• +3 years experience in the automotive embedded software development area.
• B.Sc. in Communication, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical, Aerospace, Electronics or Computer Science.
• Advanced Python scripting and OOP skills
• Strong expertise in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
• Experience with build systems (CMake) and infrastructure tooling
• Knowledge of GitHub administration, cloud/VM environments, and DevOps workflows is a plus
• Background in Model-Based Development (MBD) and MATLAB is advantageous
