Mechanical Technical Office Engineer (Entry-Level) We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with up to 2 years of experience eager to kick-start their career in mechanical engineering within the construction or MEP industry. You'll play a key role in supporting our mechanical projects from the technical office, gaining hands-on experience in design, documentation, and coordination.
Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and review of mechanical shop drawings (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, etc.) using Auto CAD, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards. Support the development of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs for mechanical works. Learn to conduct basic technical studies and analyses for various mechanical systems. Aid in preparing and organizing technical submittals (material approvals, method statements, etc.) for review by senior engineers. Collaborate with design and site teams to facilitate smooth project execution and learn problem-solving techniques under supervision. Assist in organizing and maintaining all technical documentation and drawings. Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.0-3 years of experience in a similar role or relevant internship experience is a strong plus. Proficiency in Auto CAD is essential. Familiarity with Revit MEP is a strong advantage (but not mandatory). Foundational knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems is required. Basic understanding of relevant international codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, IPC) is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Fluency in both Arabic and English is a plus.
