Job Summary The Procurement Supervisor – ICT oversees and coordinates the sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management of ICT-related materials, equipment, software, and services to ensure timely and cost-effective support for organizational operations and projects. The role ensures compliance with quality standards, contractual obligations, and supplier performance requirements. The supervisor works closely with ICT, engineering, projects, operations, and finance teams to support technology infrastructure, system upgrades, maintenance activities, and digital initiatives. A strong engineering or technical background—preferably in ICT—enables effective evaluation of technical specifications, solutions, and vendor proposals.
Job Description:Develop and implement ICT procurement strategies aligned with project timelines, operational requirements, and organizational objectives. Analyze technical specifications and system requirements to ensure sourcing of appropriate ICT solutions, hardware, software, and services. Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for ICT equipment, systems, software licenses, and support services. Conduct supplier performance evaluations, audits, and compliance reviews. Establish and maintain strong relationships with ICT vendors, system integrators, and service providers. Review ICT technical specifications, system architectures, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate procurement. Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluate bids, and conduct techno-commercial comparisons. Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, licensing terms, warranties, SLAs, and payment conditions. Prepare, review, and manage ICT procurement contracts in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, quality, and industry standards. Coordinate with warehouses and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of ICT assets. Monitor stock levels of ICT equipment and spare parts and support asset lifecycle management. Identify supply chain risks and implement contingency plans. Monitor procurement costs, analyze spending trends, and identify cost-optimization opportunities. Prepare periodic procurement reports, supplier performance reviews, and ICT procurement KPIs. Supervise, mentor, and guide procurement officers and buyers handling ICT categories. Ensure compliance with standardized procurement processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably ICT, Computer, Telecommunications, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering). Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPM, CPSM, or PMP are an advantage.6+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management. Proven experience in ICT procurement, including network equipment, servers, hardware, software, and IT services. Experience in environments such as telecom, data centers, manufacturing, industrial facilities, or EPC projects is preferred.
