About the Project Rehabitaire is a digital physiotherapy and rehabilitation platform designed to support physiotherapists and patients throughout the recovery journey. The platform uses AI and computer vision, including camera based analysis, to support home exercise programmes, improve adherence, and provide meaningful feedback on patient progress.
Rehabitaire is built as a tool that supplements and supports physiotherapists in their work. It is not designed to replace therapists, but to extend their reach, improve follow up, and help patients perform their exercises more effectively outside the clinic.
We are looking for an experienced physiotherapist who is also a health and movement enthusiast, excited to contribute beyond clinical work and grow into product thinking, business exposure, and digital health innovation.
Role This is a part time, hybrid role. You will work remotely and attend regular in person sessions at our office in Maadi, Cairo to discuss product decisions and collaborate with the team. You will work closely with our founder, product manager, UX designers, and software engineering team to ensure the platform reflects real world outpatient physiotherapy practice. You will also engage directly with therapists and patients through pilot clinics, focus groups, and usability studies.
Responsibilities• Provide clinical expertise on outpatient physiotherapy conditions, rehabilitation exercises, and treatment progression• Contribute to the design and validation of home exercise programmes used within the platform• Help define and review physiotherapy workflows including assessment, prescription, follow up, and adherence• Review product concepts and user flows from a practising physiotherapist’s perspective• Advise on exercise libraries, clinical terminology, and progression logic• Contribute clinical insight to AI and computer vision based exercise guidance and camera driven feedback• Meet with pilot clinics and practitioners to present the product and collect structured feedback• Organise and participate in usability studies with both therapists and patients• Assess the effectiveness of the tool in supporting rehabilitation outcomes and therapist workflows• Work closely with the founder, product manager, UX, and engineering teams to translate clinical insight into product decisions
Required Experience• Licensed physiotherapist• At least 4 years of hands on experience in outpatient clinic settings• Strong understanding of rehabilitation exercises and common musculoskeletal and neurological conditions• Deep familiarity with home exercise programmes and patient adherence challenges• Comfortable explaining clinical concepts clearly to non clinicians• Interest in technology, digital health, and improving care through tools and systems
Nice to Have• Experience with tele physiotherapy or remote patient follow up• Exposure to usability testing, clinical audits, or outcome assessment• Interest in expanding into product, business, or clinical leadership roles
Working Setup• Part time engagement• Hybrid role with regular in person meetings in Maadi, Cairo• Flexible hours• No patient facing clinical role expected
