Responsibilities Review mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications to verify conformance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements Conduct on-site inspections of mechanical installations, equipment, and systems to assess workmanship, materials, and performance Coordinate with testing laboratories to oversee quality control testing of mechanical systems, including functionality, efficiency, and safety testing Identify quality issues and collaborate with the project team to develop and implement corrective actions Maintain detailed quality control records, reports, and documentation Provide technical guidance and training to field mechanics on quality control best practices Work closely with project managers to ensure mechanical quality objectives are achieved within schedule and budget
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Strong working knowledge of relevant mechanical codes, standards, and industry regulations Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and specifications Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
