What You’ll DoAnalyze RFPs and define bidding priorities to optimize project profitability. Review technical drawings and specifications, attend pre-bid meetings, and perform accurate quantity take-offs. Support cost estimation for materials, labor, and equipment while coordinating with procurement and project teams. Prepare and review change orders with the Project Manager, negotiating and finalizing pricing when required. Communicate effectively with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive quotes and ensure project efficiency. Identify potential risks affecting project costs or schedules and propose mitigation actions. Present professionalism and teamwork in every interaction with clients, suppliers, and colleagues. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Fresh graduates are welcome. Candidates with 1+ year of estimating or steel industry experience will have added advantage. Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications accurately. Good understanding of construction estimating principles and cost control basics. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, with a willingness to learn advanced estimating tools. Preferred Extras Familiarity with Auto CAD, Revit, or Tekla software. Basic understanding of steel structure design and fabrication.
