Freight Forwarder Specialist Location: Smart Village, Cairo, Egypt Employment Type: Full-time Work Mode: On-site Experience: 2–4 years
The Freight Forwarder Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating all freight forwarding and export operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant shipment of goods. The role requires close coordination with freight agents, shipping lines, customs brokers, and internal teams while maintaining a high level of service and operational accuracy.
Responsibilities Manage end-to-end freight forwarding and export operations Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers Arrange international shipments and transportation schedules Prepare, review, and manage export and shipping documentation Ensure compliance with international trade and customs regulations Monitor shipment progress and ensure on-time delivery Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and logistics issues Communicate shipment updates with customers and internal stakeholders Optimize shipping routes and costs while maintaining service quality
Requirements2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding and export operations Strong knowledge of export procedures and international freight logistics Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities High attention to detail and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Proficiency in freight forwarding systems and logistics software Experience in the furniture or logistics industry is a plus
