Role Objectives:As a Project Engineer within the Operations Infrastructure & Maintenance team, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects and maintenance upgrades across Breadfast facilities. You will be responsible for managing timelines, coordinating with internal teams and contractors, and ensuring all works meet safety, quality, and operational standards. Your role ensures that all sites remain fully functional, compliant, and optimized to support ongoing business operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:Develop, implement, and manage detailed project plans for infrastructure upgrades, facility improvements, and maintenance initiatives. Track project progress, monitor risks, and adjust scope, timelines, or costs when necessary. Conduct feasibility assessments, site evaluations, and technical reviews prior to project approval. Maintain accurate documentation of project phases, tasks, and completion milestones. Ensure all project activities follow safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Stakeholder Coordination:Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Facilities, Safety, Finance, Procurement) to ensure alignment on project requirements. Manage relationships with external contractors, service providers, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of services. Facilitate clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Follow up on compliance-related requirements, approvals, and documentation. Site & Execution Oversight:Oversee on-site infrastructure work, including renovations, maintenance repairs, expansions, and utility installations. Conduct routine site visits to monitor progress, ensure adherence to technical specifications, and verify work quality. Ensure proactive handling of facility issues, addressing root causes and preventing recurrence. Validate contractor performance, safety measures, and completion of deliverables. Process Improvement & Documentation:Support the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance programs across all Breadfast facilities. Identify gaps or inefficiencies in existing infrastructure processes and propose improvement opportunities. Document workflows, process updates, maintenance logs, and post-project evaluations. Prepare project reports, financial tracking, and status updates for management.
