Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT System Administrator to maintain, upgrade, and manage our software, hardware, and networks. The ideal candidate will ensure our IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently while troubleshooting any technical issues. You will play a key role in supporting end-users, implementing security protocols, and optimizing system performance. Key Responsibilities:System Administration & Maintenance:Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware. Monitor and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance. Apply updates, patches, and security fixes to IT systems. Ensure regular backups are conducted and maintain disaster recovery protocols for critical data and systems. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Network & Security Management:Maintain and secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and switches. Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect data and systems. Conduct regular system audits and risk assessments. Support & Troubleshooting:Provision, configure, and deploy end-user equipment (laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals) for new hires during onboarding. Deliver on-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems, including VPN and internet access, for office-based and remote users. Support user access to internal systems and applications, resolving permissions and access-related issues. Install, configure, update, and maintain end-user software, operating systems, and collaboration tools. Log, track, and document incidents and service requests in the IT service management system, ensuring timely resolution. Provide end-user guidance and basic training on company hardware, software, and standard IT practices, and coordinate with IT vendors when required. Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.1-3 years of experience in IT System administrator, network administration, or a similar role Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V). Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Intune) is a plus. Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy. CCNA & MCSA mandatory Experience. Experience with monitoring tools like PRTG Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, switching, VPN, firewalls).
