Roles & Responsibilities:Contribute to setting the plan of the bid for the concerned project in coordination with the line manager. Coordinate internally between team members to assure the job completion with no gaps/missing items in the study. Identify the data needed from other departments and propose an action plan to the line manager. Review the list of Major quantities. Review the classification of tender documents as per the department’s scope. Plan and follow the commercial requests (RFQs), in addition to reporting and conducting a comparison of their status on a weekly basis. Follow reports and requests related to market news of the concerned project. Review estimates/reports prepared by team members and discuss them, ensuring scope/specifications estimates are compatible and complete. Prepare the detailed Project Budget and detailed project information sheet. Prepare tender queries to the client/Engineer. Visit the project site and collect all site-related technical information. Review project quantities take off. Extract bid bond data from documents. Review the Unit cost sheet and coding of trades and sub-trades. Review Request for quotations to suppliers and subcontractors. Conduct client meetings to collect all necessary data about the project under study. Evaluate sub-contractors' quotations and analyze sub-contractors' offers. Plan for “Bid Closing” separately in coordination with the line manager. Cooperate with the line manager in preparing the customer’s/Engineer’s technical question responses. Review the technical and commercial comparison sheets for the supplier's offer. Prepare a direct cost study break-down analysis. Support the estimation manager in preparation of the equipment list, Histograms, cash flow, presentation, and suppliers and subcontractors list. Lead team in performing the assigned tasks. Ensure work procedures of various activities within the tendering process are implemented and followed. Review and ensure all services and work products delivered by the section meet quality standards in compliance with established policies and procedures. Provide periodic performance appraisals for line reports.
QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor of Civil Engineering. Have solid experience in infrastructure and industrial projects.8+ years of experience in the Engineering field, 5 of them in Tendering. Fluent of English language. Excellent in both of communication and negotiation skills. Candy User.
