Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Tender & Procurement Engineer to manage electrical/ Mechanical tendering activities and procurement processes for construction projects. The role involves cost estimation, supplier evaluation, material sourcing, and coordination with technical and site teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement in compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities Tendering & Cost Estimation Prepare electrical tenders, BOQs, and detailed cost estimates based on drawings and specifications. Analyze tender documents, identify risks, and propose cost-effective solutions. Coordinate with design, technical office, and site teams for accurate pricing. Prepare technical and commercial comparisons for suppliers and subcontractors. Procurement & Purchasing Manage procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and subcontract services. Issue RFQs, evaluate quotations, and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules. Prepare purchase orders in accordance with project budgets and approvals. Ensure materials comply with approved specifications, standards, and shop drawings. Supplier & Subcontractor Management Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with approved suppliers and vendors. Conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations. Coordinate with suppliers for delivery schedules and resolve supply-related issues. Cost Control & Documentation Monitor procurement costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets. Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation. Support variation pricing and value engineering proposals. Coordination & Reporting Coordinate with site teams to ensure timely material delivery and availability. Prepare procurement status reports and cost summaries for management. Support project teams during execution with technical procurement input.
Job Requirements for Electrical Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.only 3–5 years of experience in electrical tendering and procurement within construction or MEP companies. Proven experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems (LV, MV, lighting, power, ELV). Excellent understanding of BOQs, specifications, and drawings. Familiarity with contracts and procurement procedures. Proficient in Excel, Auto CAD (for drawing review), and ERP/procurement systems. Experience with estimation software is an advantage. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders/projects.
Job Requirements for Mechanical Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience3-5 years of experience in mechanical tendering and procurement within construction or MEP companies. Experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, or infrastructure projects is preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, pumps, chillers). Excellent understanding of BOQs, drawings, specifications, and material submittals. Familiarity with contract conditions and procurement procedures. Proficient in Excel, Auto CAD (for drawing review), and ERP/procurement systems. Experience with estimation software is an advantage. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications Experience in fast-track or multi-project environments. Knowledge of local and international electrical suppliers. Experience with value engineering and cost optimization.
