Linux-Plus Information Systems is looking for an experienced Presales Engineer to support our sales cycle, design innovative IT solutions, and work closely with top enterprise vendors
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support: Work with Sales Personnel to provide product, business, and technical knowledge in support of pre-sales activities and assist in expediting sales cycle. Solution Design & Demonstrations: Create customized solutions for clients based on their unique requirements, Deliver tailored product demonstrations, proof of concepts (POC), and technical presentations. Technical Expertise: Provide expert knowledge of Red Hat, Oracle, VMware, and Nutanix technologies. Proposal Creation: Collaborate with sales teams to create RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and respond to client inquiries with accurate technical information. Client Relationships: Build strong relationships with clients and prospects, acting as the primary point of contact for all technical matters during the pre-sales process. Product Training: Educate prospective clients on the company’s products, their functionality, and their value in improving network security, scalability, and performance. Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with the Internal teams to ensure technical accuracy and solution alignment.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any relevant field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Presales, Systems Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or similar roles. Experience in dealing with following Vendors: Red Hat, Oracle, VMware, and Nutanix Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, virtualization, cloud platforms, and security technologies. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to translate complex technical topics into business value.
