We are looking for a skilled Compliance Officer to support and lead the Med Net Egypt to operate in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, organizational compliance norms, and Munich Re group standards and norms related to governance, compliance, financial crime, sanctions and Anti Money Laundering (AML).

Your Job
Ensuring all of the Med Net’s regulatory and legal requirements are identified, understood and met and there is a monitoring program in place for compliance against such requirements. Implementation and monitoring of the Compliance Management System as per Med Net Compliance Policy. Constantly update knowledge on regulatory requirements and emerging legal issues to advise the management appropriately and make sure that the concerned entities follow and apply these changes correctly. Deliver training for all relevant compliance risks and topics ensuring all training activity is adequately documented and participation is actively tracked. Interact on a regular basis with the Head of Compliance and be the main interface between the Med Net and the Regional Team to update and inform about Med Net compliance issues or changes in Med Net. Maintain, monitor and update the AML, Sanctions and Financial Crime Manual and any supporting procedures and processes ensuring they are in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Support Med Net Egypt as required in preparation from GAudit activities and be a point of contact if required during GAudit and support as necessary with the closure of measures to resolve audit findings. Assist with preparing for the Board Meetings to meet legal and regulatory requirements, and to ensure that legal and compliance risks and reporting are properly included, and follow up tasks are completed if required by the Board. Assist with drafting Med Net contracts, agreements and letters to satisfy legal and compliance requirements as well as inter-company billing and auditor requirements to ensure services are agreed on and provided in a legal and compliant manner along with maintaining and managing record keeping of these contracts and whilst doing so escalating to the Head of Med Net as and when necessary.
Your Profile Bachelor degree in Law or any other relevant field. Diplomas or professional certification in Compliance and / or Anti Money Laundering an advantage A minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance and regulatory business affairs within health insurance or a comparable sector. Good working knowledge of the applicable laws and regulations relating to company governance and obligations. Knowledge of governance and compliance management systems and processes. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with fluency in English is a must. Good interpersonal and communication skills Conviction in advice provided and the ability to act with integrity. Good problem-solving skills
