Job Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator with expertise in Postgre SQL multi-master replication & Mongo DB HA Cluster to join our team. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for setup & managing our database systems and ensuring theiravailability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities: Design, Setup, Administer and Optimal maintenance of Postgre SQL (with Multi-Master Replication) & Mongo DB (with High Availability Cluster) database systems, includingmonitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting and high level of availability Plan and implement database upgrades, migrations, and backups Develop and maintain database security policies and procedures, including access control anddata encryption Monitor database performance and identify and resolve bottlenecks and other issues Design and implement database replication and failover solutions including DR strategies Work with developers to optimize database schema design and query performance Develop and maintain documentation of database systems and procedures Periodic testing of Backup Restores Manage all regular/periodic DBA tasks Sound experience in Linux environment Ready to work in shifts (if required)
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field At least 4 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on Postgre SQL,Mongo DB & MySQL Strong understanding of database management and administration principles Proficiency in SQL and experience with database tuning and optimization Experience with Postgre SQL replication, backup, and recovery techniques Familiarity with database security principles and best practices Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Relevant Certification is preferable
