Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physiotherapist at October 6 University, located in Cairo. The Physiotherapist will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic programs for patients to assist with recovery and improve mobility and physical well-being. The role involves diagnosing physical conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, administering therapy exercises, and educating patients on injury prevention. Additionally, collaboration with physicians, hospital staff, and academic professionals to ensure a high standard of patient care is a key component of this position.
Qualifications
Proficiency in assessing patient mobility issues, developing tailored treatment plans, and administering physical therapy techniques. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation practices, with the ability to conduct patient evaluations and implement evidence-based practices. Experience with patient education, injury prevention techniques, and providing guidance for long-term physical well-being. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with medical teams and engaging with patients of various backgrounds. Strong organizational and observational skills to document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Relevant licensure or certification as a Physiotherapist in Egypt and a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field. Advanced degrees or specialized training in physical therapy are an advantage. Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is beneficial, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
