Role Description

The Career Services Senior Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting students, graduates, and alumni at the University of Hertfordshire hosted by GAF to achieve their career goals. This full-time, on-site position, based in Cairo, Egypt, involves providing one-on-one career counseling, conducting workshops on job search strategies and interview preparation, and developing tailored career development plans. The role requires working closely with students to prepare them for entering the workforce, building partnerships with employers, and creating internship and job placement opportunities. The specialist will also organize career-related events, manage career resources, and provide insights into industry trends.

Qualifications

Expertise in Career Services, including offering individualized support and effective career counseling Strong knowledge of Job Search Strategies and Interview Preparation techniques Proficiency in Career Development and guidance for students and fresh graduates Ability to cultivate and maintain employer partnerships to support career placement opportunities Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Experience in organizing career events, workshops, or professional development sessions A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Career Services, Counseling, Human Resources, Education, or a related field Familiarity with industry trends and labor market needs, preferably within Egypt and the global context
