Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Shop Drawing Civil Engineer, located in Cairo, Egypt. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing detailed shop drawings for civil engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications. The individual will coordinate with architectural teams, consultants, and construction teams to resolve any design discrepancies and ensure seamless project execution. Additional duties include conducting site visits, overseeing project planning, and collaborating on stormwater management and other civil engineering-related tasks.
Qualifications Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and in-depth knowledge of Civil Engineering principles. Experience with Planning and executing detailed construction strategies. Expertise in Stormwater Management and related infrastructure solutions. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Proficient in using design and drafting software (e.g., Auto CAD). A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Previous experience in shop drawings or similar roles is an advantage. Knowledge of local and international construction standards and regulations.
