Job Overview:
The Area Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the coffee team at Breadfast's dark stores, ensuring the consistency and quality of products delivered in line with Breadfast’s standards. This role involves managing the preparation and presentation of beverages, maintaining the coffee team inventory, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Additionally, you will mentor and guide staff, address customer complaints and implement processes to enhance team efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage, and support baristas, ensuring high coffee quality and a positive work culture. Conduct frequent performance evaluations and handle scheduling.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring equipment functionality, product quality, and issue resolution (inventory, staffing, equipment).
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain premium drink quality, address customer complaints, and implement corrective actions.
- Inventory & Supply Chain: Monitor inventory across locations, flag unusual consumption, and ensure adherence to waste management practices.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all locations meet food safety, cleanliness, and H&S regulations.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and staffing. Submit performance reports.
