Order Coordination:
- Organize and prepare orders for delivery, ensuring accurate labeling and timely readiness.
- Arrange and send orders to the kitchen, clearly communicating all requirements.
- Ensure the stock of order add-ons (e.g., candles, utensils, decorations) is sufficient and readily available for each order.
- Verify order details, including delivery addresses, time slots, and special instructions.
Driver Dispatching:
- Assign orders to drivers based on routes and availability, optimizing delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain efficient delivery routes aligned with Nino’s Bakery’s time slot system.
- Provide drivers with order requirements and specific customer instructions.
Communication and Follow-Up:
- Monitor deliveries in real-time, ensuring punctuality and resolving delays as they occur.
- Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, offering support for on-the-go issues.
- Keep customers and the customer service team updated on delivery statuses or changes.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
- Maintain a detailed daily log of deliveries, driver assignments, and customer feedback.
- Report delivery challenges, delays, and customer complaints to the operations team for resolution.
eCommerce Fulfillment:
- Manage and optimize the full eCommerce order fulfillment cycle.
- Coordinate with production and packaging teams to meet delivery deadlines.
- Ensure inventory levels are accurately reflected in the Shopify system.
- Proactively resolve issues or delays in order processing and delivery.
- Perform quality checks to uphold Nino’s Bakery standards at every stage.
Feedback and Quality Improvement:
- Collect feedback from the customer satisfaction team to refine processes and improve quality.
- Share insights with the production team and management to address and prevent recurring issues.
- Support the resolution of quality-related customer complaints.
- Analyze trends in feedback to guide product and service enhancements.
Order Management and Inspection:
- Collaborate with the kitchen and logistics teams for seamless order fulfillment.
- Conduct final inspections on cakes for quality assurance before handoff to logistics.
- Verify secure packaging to ensure safe transportation.
- Document delivery instructions and quality control reports for each order.
Packaging and Presentation:
- Ensure cake boxes are the appropriate size and meet cleanliness standards.
- Securely position cakes within boxes to prevent movement during transit.
- Confirm additional items, such as candles and utensils, are included and well-packaged.
- Guarantee that the overall presentation reflects Nino’s Bakery’s brand image.
