The Workforce Manager is responsible for optimizing the utilization of an organization's workforce to achieve operational goals and maximize efficiency. This role involves planning, scheduling, and managing employee resources to ensure adequate staffing levels, minimize costs, and enhance overall productivity.
Responsibilities
* Strategic Planning:
* Develop and implement workforce planning strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives.
* Forecast staffing needs based on anticipated workload, projects, and growth.
* Analyze historical data and trends to identify patterns and optimize workforce allocation.
* Scheduling:
* Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing coverage for all operational needs.
* Coordinate with department managers to align schedules with project requirements and employee preferences.
* Optimize scheduling to minimize overtime, reduce absenteeism, and improve employee satisfaction.
* Performance Management:
* Monitor employee performance and productivity to identify areas for improvement.
* Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance employee skills and performance.
* Address performance issues in a timely and effective manner.
* Cost Management:
* Manage the workforce budget to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction, such as optimizing overtime, reducing absenteeism, and improving productivity.
* Monitor labor costs and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
* Employee Relations:
* Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.
* Manage employee leave requests, absences, and time off policies.
* Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
* Technology Utilization:
* Implement and utilize workforce management software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
* Analyze workforce data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
* Stay updated on the latest workforce management technologies and best practices.
*Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.* Minimum 7 years of experience in workforce management or a similar role.*Off shore experience is a plus * Strong understanding of workforce planning, scheduling, and performance management principles.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.* Proficiency in workforce management software and tools.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
