Corporate Sales Executive - Airlines

Job Purpose:
Responsible for driving revenue growth by establishing and nurturing relationships with corporate clients in the airline industry. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic sales initiatives, and implementing marketing plans to enhance market share. The Corporate Sales Executive will leverage strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions that meet their requirements. By fostering collaboration across departments and conducting thorough market analysis, the Corporate Sales Executive will contribute to the organization’s overall success and maintain a competitive edge in a dynamic marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Booking Oversight: Oversee the booking processes for flights, hotels, car rentals, and visas, ensuring that all bookings adhere to company policies and meet client travel requirements.
  • Achievement of Sales Targets: Strategically meet and exceed yearly sales revenue targets by implementing effective sales techniques and driving team performance.
  • Business Development Initiatives: Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand market share and increase overall revenue, leveraging market insights and industry trends.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both prospects and existing clients to foster loyalty and enhance customer satisfaction, ensuring a robust client retention strategy.
  • Competitor Activity Analysis: Conduct thorough knowledge and analysis of competitor activities and market positioning to effectively secure and expand the company’s rightful share of the business.
  • Flight Bench-marking: Regularly benchmark the company’s flight offerings against competitor airlines to assess pricing, service quality, and product differentiation, enabling informed strategic decisions.
  • Revenue Generation through Prospecting: Drive new revenue streams by researching, analyzing, and qualifying potential prospects and sales opportunities, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Sales and Marketing Strategy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive sales activities and marketing plans that align with organizational objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach to market penetration.
  • Compliance and Credit Mismanagement: strict compliance with corporate policies and timely submission of required reports; monitor and manage credit facilities for travel agencies to minimize defaults and maintain healthy financial relationships.


Operational Management:

  • Improve efficiency and effectiveness in sales activities, ensuring that resources are utilized optimally and that sales targets are achieved consistently.
  • Facilitate collaboration between sales and other departments, such as marketing, finance, and customer service, to ensure alignment of goals and a cohesive approach to client engagement.


Management Reporting:

  • Prepare and present detailed sales performance reports on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly, and annually) to provide insights into revenue trends, team performance, and market conditions.
  • Develop sales forecasts and projections based on historical data, market analysis, and current trends to assist management in strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports, outlining performance metrics and initiatives designed to counter competitive pressures and market challenges.
