Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company's overall supply chain strategy to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
• Manage the procurement of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies to meet production requirements.
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management to minimize waste and maximize availability.
• Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as disruptions, shortages, or quality issues.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
• Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process optimization initiatives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, logistics providers, and other supply chain partners.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and the company's policies and procedures.
• Manage and develop the supply chain team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a supply chain management role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address supply chain challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in using supply chain management software, data analytics tools, and ERP systems.
• Understanding of the local Libyan market, supply chain infrastructure, and regulatory environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business requirements.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken) is required.
