Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Load Planner to work exclusively on U.S. load boards to search for and book freight for our fleet of trucks. This role involves finding the best possible loads for our drivers, negotiating rates, and ensuring efficient load planning to maximize profitability. We are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and has strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Search for and book freight using load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop, etc.).
• Negotiate rates with brokers and shippers.
• Plan and coordinate loads to optimize truck routes and minimize empty miles.
• Communicate with drivers to ensure smooth load pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor load progress and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Maintain accurate records of all booked loads and rate confirmations.
• Collaborate with the dispatch team to ensure timely and efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Strong command of the English language (both verbal and written).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to industry-specific software and tools.
• Prior experience in the trucking or logistics industry is a plus but not required.
