HR Specialist

Human Resources Duties:

 

Recruitment and Onboarding:

 

  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
  • Collaborate with managers to understand staffing needs and ensure a timely and efficient hiring process.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate onboarding activities.
  • Responsible for planning and ensuring systematic induction for all new employees of the designations.
  • Ensure that induction plan is signed off and filed in the personal file of all employees.

 

Attendance and Leave management:

 

  • Track the attendance of all staff daily in provided excel format (or) in the HRMIS as per organization requirement and communication.
  • Maintain and regularly update the attendance records of all employees.
  • Track leave database, eligibility, availed and closing balances of leaves for the district in excel format (or) HRMIS.
  • Provide this information on monthly basis to Manager and Finance for payroll input.

 

Salary Processing / Payroll:

 

  •  Provide payroll inputs such as attendance summary, leave summary, other deductions to payroll employee in specified format for processing payroll.
  • Ensure that salary slips are distributed to all staff of the region.

 

Employee Relations:

 

  • Address employee queries, concerns, and provide assistance on HR-related matters.
  • Assist in managing employee relations by monitoring and resolving workplace issues.
  • Support disciplinary actions and investigations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

 

HR Administration: 

 

  • Manage documentation related to employment contracts, benefits, and other HR processes.
  • Prepare and process HR-related paperwork, such as employment verification and personnel changes.

 

Employee Engagement:

 

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in organizing events and activities to foster a positive work environment.

Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent degree.3-4 Previous experience in HR. (ENGINEERING FIELD)Basic knowledge of labor legislationExperience using spreadsheetsComputer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)Skills Planning, organizing and coordinating skillsGood communication and negotiation skillsTeam work and people management skillsReport writing skillsFinancial managementEthics and integrity
