Overview:
As a Fitout and Fine Finishing Architectural Site Engineer at KB Architects, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality interior projects, particularly within the hospitality and commercial sectors. You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of fit-out and fine finishing elements, ensuring that projects meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination: Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth progress on site.
- Site Supervision: Provide on-site supervision to monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
- Documentation: Prepare and manage project documentation, construction schedules, and material submittals.
- Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing project budgets related to fit-out and fine finishing elements.
- Quality Control: Implement and oversee robust quality control procedures to ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the highest standards.
- Material Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of a wide range of construction materials, finishes, and their applications.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Applied arts.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in fit-out and fine finishing design and construction, with a preference for experience in hospitality or commercial projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
- Excellent understanding of construction materials, finishes, and techniques, including their properties, durability, and maintenance requirements, particularly within the hospitality and commercial sectors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and organized approach to work
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on luxury residential or commercial projects.
- Knowledge of green building practices and certifications.
