- Executes & supervises projects in all phases, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, authority requirements, zoning and applicable codes, and design and construction specifications;
- Reviews engineering details as and when required for the execution of works.
- Ensure that the design engineer's design intent is delivered by the contractor and is responsible for dealing with any on-site design problems that arise.
- Addresses modifications desired by the client in coordination with the design engineer.
- Assists the Project Lead in the review and selection of materials and equipment that are in compliance with approved material submittals.
- Support the project lead in issuing engineering correspondences.
- Highlights any violations of construction/engineering-related issues on-site through the issuance of NCRS.
- Attends progress review meetings and co-ordination meetings to assist the Project Lead in resolving any site issues such as discrepancies in the project’s drawings.
- Participates in the coordination and monitoring of snagging and project handover
- Provides support to the Project Manager/team leader to ensure projects run smoothly by providing expert knowledge and advice.
- Liaises with the Design Engineer on modifications required.
- Gives daily site reports and highlights issues that arise on-site to the Project Lead.
A relevant engineering degree Architect/ Civil.4-6 years overall relevant experience.Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in similar projects (commercial and administrative centers/ malls).
