Sales Engineer

  • Understand, Evaluate and analyze customer RFQs (Request for Quotation) which may include specifications/drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, P&ID) and request necessary clarifications to achieve a full understanding of the project.
  • Attend customer meetings aimed to describe/discuss the proposed solution and highlight advantages over competitors.
  • Support sales team on customer meetings (in-person and remote).
  • Designed highly technical solutions for all integrated solution components.
  • Identify the potential supplier(s) list for the provided solution(s).
  • Study the available solutions of the competitors to be able to provide the optimum solution emphasizing our strong points.
  • New product development and promotion
  • Act as a consultant/advisor for the client in the complex technical issues and conduct presentations when required. 
  • Prepare and Provide technical & commercial offers.
  • Prepare technical submittal and associated drawings that describe the solution and highlight the advantages of the proposed solution.
  • Report to the sales manager remotely through meetings and frequent detailed reports.
  • Panel design, wiring and testing for various equipment.
  • PLC, and HMI programming.
  • Work experience in PLCs (Siemens and Schneider- are preferred).
  • Work abroad in locations for our company mainly Libya and other Countries.
  • Ability to work independently.
  •  Negotiating contracts, terms and conditions
  • Providing pre-sales and post-sales support
  • Reviewing cost and sales performance
  • Continuous follow-up with distributors and customers for technical and commercial clarifications to ensure achievement of sales targets.

Maintaining relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance; recommending new opportunities and service improvement 


Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics / Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering.(3-5) years of experience and capability in PLC, instrumentation, Electrical equipment, and Mechanical Equipment for various downstream and upstream applications.Ability to visit Remote site locations around the country, to inspect site conditions, to in communication with all the parties involved representing the client. Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Maintaining relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance; recommending new opportunities and service improvement.Self-Motivated person.Eager to learn new products and solutions.Strong Presentation and Time-management skills.Good command of Excel, word, and AUTOCAD.Good command of English.
