Role Purpose:
Estimation Engineer role is to ensure the complete preparation of the technical requirement fulfilment as per the submitted technical specifications, drawings, and schedules. In addition to coordinating & performing all the required duties and functions.
Responsibilities:
-Participating in studying tender packages, able to prepare tender packages
-Coordinate and collaborate with different trades to fulfil the bidding process.
-Attending bidding briefing, events and post tender award meetings & training events as required, ensuring the relevant information is summarized and give feedback effectively.
-Negotiating with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product.
-Preparing cost breakdown structure including: material, equipment, transportation, lifting labor and any other needed item, by preparing internal calculations sheets for all mechanical trades.
-Modify and consolidate the final technical & commercial offers as per the bidding documents instructions.
-Following the confidentiality as per the agreed policy.
-Enquiries, consults and coordinates with client & consultant representatives for specification/ technical and BOQ clarifications required for tenders
-Finalizes estimation of all direct and indirect costs and consolidates tender documents for management review and approval
- preparing financial and technical offers for civil and architectural aspects of various BOQs.
-Provides all the necessary project clarifications/ information upon project award to the Prepare technical & commercial proposals
- Prepare and submit the variation orders (VO) with Quantity take-off, cost estimation (CE), and rate analysis with all supporting Documents
Job Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in civil Engineering
- Experience From 5 to 8 years in construction companies
-Excellent in Microsoft office package
-Experience in Auto-CAD
-Advanced Communication and Negotiation Skills
