We are seeking a skilled and motivated Geomatics Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in land surveying, GIS, remote sensing, and spatial data analysis. This role will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide accurate geospatial data and analysis for various projects.
Job Description
- Surveying using different instruments (level, total station, GPS, and Laser scanner)
- Laser scanning data processing
- Tasks related to Laser scanning applications: 2D drawings,3D Modeling and BIM
- Processing and calculations from survey data, architectural plans, and engineering drawings
- Develop and maintain geographic information systems (GIS) databases.
- - Create maps and visualizations for project reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with other engineers, environmental scientists, urban planners, and construction teams to integrate geospatial data into project planning and execution.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to geomatics engineering.
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and other mapping tools to prepare detailed plans and drawings.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected data.
- Stay updated on new technologies and methods in geomatics and apply them to ongoing projects.
