- Consider all projects’ needs including required items over the duration of a project and dates of requiring them and classify parallels.
- Budget all the projects and make updates regularly.
- Cost breakdown for each item.
- Create a plan for needs supply with suppliers or subcontractors, submit it to the line manager for approval and update a needs plan according to sudden changes to project’s schedule and stages of implementation in coordination with the planning team.
- Receive technical specifications of materials, equipment and operating supplies from project functional departments and re-characterising them in details with accordance to common technical standards and code each item to make supply process easier.
- Solicit price quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, make a database for materials, equipment, operating supplies and human resources cost and update it regularly to be referenced when necessary.
- Study commercial and technical subcontractors offers and participate in choosing the most qualified and cost effective offer
- Prepare and create subcontractor’s contract based on the project needs and with alignment of project managers
- Receive inventory control reports regularly and provide a thorough report to the line manager.
Education: Civil Engineering bachelor’s degree.Real estate, construction or engineering consultancy experience is a must.Related function experience: 5+ years’ experience.
