Social Media Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Curation:

  • Develop, create, and publish high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos, etc.) that aligns with the brand’s voice and strategy.
  • Curate content from external sources to complement the company’s messaging.

Social Media Management:

  • Manage and maintain all social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Schedule posts using social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
  • Monitor social media channels for brand mentions and engage with users.

Community Engagement:

  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Foster and build relationships with followers, influencers, and brand advocates.
  • Organize and run social media campaigns, contests, and giveaways to increase engagement.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze key metrics such as engagement rates, reach, impressions, and conversion rates.
  • Generate regular reports on social media performance and provide insights for improvement.
  • Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other social media analytics platforms to inform strategies.

Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media strategies that align with overall marketing goals.
  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to keep the brand relevant.

Brand Consistency:

  • Ensure all social media content is consistent with the brand’s voice, style, and tone.
  • Develop guidelines for social media usage within the company.

Paid Social Media Advertising:

  • Plan and execute paid social media campaigns, including budget management and ad creation.
  • Optimize ads for better performance and ROI.

 

 


 Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role from minimum 5 years. In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and their best practices.Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.Experience with social media management and analytics tools.Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
