Senior Payroll Specialist

  • Process all aspects of payroll, including collecting time sheets, calculating wages and taxes, and issuing paychecks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in the payroll system.
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax reports to the appropriate government agencies.
  • Train new employees on payroll procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and human resources on payroll matters.
  • Conduct audits and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of payroll data.
  • Stay up to date on changes to payroll laws and regulations.
  • May participate in the development and implementation of new payroll processes.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, human resources, or a related field (preferred).Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll.Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.Proficient in payroll software systems.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
