We are looking for a skilled Technical Designer with solid experience in metal and wooden furniture manufacturing to join our team.
Job Requirements:* Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts, Industrial Design, Architecture, or related field.* Minimum 5–7 years of experience in technical design and furniture manufacturing.* Strong experience in metal works, wooden furniture, fabrication details, and production processes.* Excellent proficiency in:
Auto CADSolid Works Corel DRAWExcel* Ability to prepare accurate shop drawings, cutting lists, and technical production files.* Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and assembly techniques.
Main Responsibilities:* Analyze and develop technical drawings for metal and wooden furniture production.* Prepare detailed shop drawings and manufacturing files.* Create accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and material specifications.* Coordinate with production and procurement teams regarding materials and fabrication requirements.* Propose practical and cost-effective production solutions.* Follow up production processes to ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards.* Support manufacturing teams with technical clarifications during fabrication and assembly stages.* Develop efficient production methods and suggest suitable materials and fabrication techniques.* Ensure all designs comply with safety and manufacturing standards.* Manage project priorities according to production schedules and deadlines.
Preferred Experience:* Experience in custom furniture, retail fixtures, display units, kiosks, or interior production.* Strong knowledge of MDF, plywood, natural wood, stainless steel, sheet metal, acrylic, and finishing materials.* Experience with CNC files and fabrication detailing is a plus.
