Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Pattern Maker role based in Alexandria, Egypt. The Senior Pattern Maker will be responsible for creating, developing, and adjusting patterns using Garber software and other CAD tools to meet design specifications and production requirements. Daily tasks include interpreting design sketches and technical packs, drafting and grading patterns, coordinating fittings, and making precise adjustments to achieve consistent fit and quality across size ranges. The role involves close collaboration with designers, sample rooms, and production teams to ensure patterns are technically sound, cost-effective, and ready for bulk manufacturing. The Senior Pattern Maker will also support pattern documentation, maintain pattern libraries, and contribute to process optimization and quality standards.
Qualifications

Strong expertise in Pattern Design and Pattern Making, with the ability to interpret design concepts and convert them into accurate, production-ready patterns. Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), preferably Garber or equivalent pattern-making software, and comfort working with digital pattern libraries and grading tools. Hands-on skills in Fitting, including leading fit sessions, evaluating garment balance and comfort, and applying technical adjustments to improve fit and silhouette. Practical knowledge of Sewing and garment construction, with the ability to anticipate production challenges and adjust patterns for ease of manufacturing. Several years of experience in pattern making within apparel or related industries, preferably in a senior or lead capacity. Strong attention to detail, accuracy in measurements, and ability to work to tight timelines without compromising quality. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with design, technical, and production teams. Relevant technical education in fashion design, pattern cutting, garment technology, or a related field is preferred.
