Al-Futtaim Automotive announces an opportunity to join the after-sales services team as an Automotive Mechanical Technician in Obour – Cairo. About the Job The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for diagnosing vehicle malfunctions, performing periodic maintenance, mechanical repairs, and authorized technical work, ensuring all tasks are executed correctly, safely, and within the specified time. The role also contributes fundamentally to maintaining vehicle quality, achieving productivity and efficiency targets within the workshop, and supporting first-time repair and on-time delivery indicators.
Job Responsibilities Systematically diagnose vehicle malfunctions and execute periodic maintenance and authorized mechanical repairs according to Honda procedures and standards. Ensure repair work is performed correctly the first time and conduct necessary quality checks to reduce vehicle returns to the workshop. Identify any additional faults or work outside the authorized repair scope and report them according to procedures. Execute repair work according to Honda's authorized standard times and deadlines, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Accurately record working hours, repair order data, inspection results, and completed work. Coordinate effectively with spare parts and technical support teams to ensure rapid task completion and minimize incomplete or delayed vehicles. Protect and maintain the vehicle during the repair process, ensuring its cleanliness and safety. Correct use of tools, testing and diagnostic devices, and workshop equipment, while keeping the work area clean and organized. Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, Honda standards, and company policies, including the use of personal protective equipment and proper waste disposal. Participate in training programs and implement technical updates to support continuous technical skill development.
