We are looking for an experienced Architectural BIM Manager to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.
???? Job Purpose
The Architectural BIM Manager will lead and manage the Architectural BIM team while coordinating closely with Structural, MEP, Interior Design, Landscape, Infrastructure, and other disciplines.
The ideal candidate should have strong architectural experience combined with advanced BIM coordination and management skills, with hands-on knowledge of LOD 400 modeling and architectural shop drawings.
???? Key Responsibilities
• Manage and supervise Architectural BIM Coordinators, BIM Engineers, and Modelers.• Lead architectural BIM coordination with Structural, MEP, Interior Design, and other disciplines.• Assign tasks, manage workloads, set deadlines, and monitor team progress.• Develop and maintain BIM workflows, standards, and project requirements.• Review and coordinate Architectural BIM models at LOD 300–400.• Strong practical experience in LOD 400 modeling is required.• Oversee the preparation and review of architectural shop drawings and construction-level BIM models.• Ensure models accurately reflect construction requirements, materials, assemblies, interfaces, and installation details.• Review shop drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, constructability, and coordination.• Conduct and manage clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.• Identify design conflicts, missing information, and technical issues at an early stage.• Coordinate with Project Managers, Technical Managers, and other Discipline Heads.• Monitor BIM deliverables and ensure submissions meet project schedules and quality standards.• Participate in preparing and updating the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and BIM responsibility matrix.• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to the architectural BIM team.
???? Requirements
Education:• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.
Experience & Skills:• Proven experience as an Architectural BIM Manager / BIM Coordinator / Senior BIM Architect for 5 years.• Strong architectural design and technical background.• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit.• Strong hands-on experience with LOD 400 BIM modeling.• Excellent knowledge of architectural shop drawings and construction documentation.• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models.• Strong understanding of BIM standards, workflows, clash detection, and model quality control.• Leadership and team-management skills.• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
