Job description

• Protects company tools, equipment, machines, or other assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensures uniform, nametags, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
• Supports all co-workers and treats them with dignity and respect.
• Inspects linen and terry for damage and removes them from circulation as necessary.
• Separates soiled articles (e.g., linen, terry, and clothing) based on color, fabric, and cleaning technique requirements prior to washing or dry cleaning.
• Maintains accurate records of items washed, number of loads, and poundage of dry cleaning and laundry.
• Transports cart of washed articles to dryers and places them in dryers according to load size.
• Predicts that all activities and purchased equipment and belongings may create disease for the environment; joins all activities organized to protect biological diversity and shares the responsibilities. Shares individual responsibilities in order to increase environmental knowledge and to carry out necessary trainings. Provides minimum consumption of currently used materials and equipment (paper, printed materials, etc.).
• Implements responsibilities to eliminate and collect waste properly, reduce environmental pollution, and harmful effects to the environment.
• Provides safe carrying, storing, and use of chemicals in accordance with laws, controlling and reducing chemical contamination.
• Carries out all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented at the facilities.
• Carries out all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.

Qualifications

• Education: At least a primary school or vocational diploma.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the related field.
• Foreign language: Not expected.
• Courses and training: Prior attendance in courses and seminars in the related field.
• Computer literacy: Not expected.
• Skills: Adaptability/flexibility, stress tolerance.
