????Location: Nasr City, Cairo
Job Description:-
Review HVAC design submissions from contractors, including air-conditioning, ventilation,smoke-management systems. Ensure designs comply with project specifications and international standards such as ASHRAE and SMACNA. Review cooling and heating load calculations, equipment sizing, duct sizing, and static-pressure calculations. Evaluate system performance, energy efficiency, and the selection of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation equipment. Review HVAC shop drawings, equipment layouts, and material submittals. Respond to contractors’ technical queries and provide appropriate engineering guidance. Coordinate HVAC activities with architectural, structural, electrical, and other MEP disciplines. Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, and Civil Defense standards, particularly for smoke-extraction and pressurization systems. Support project requirements through short-duration business travel to the UAE when required.
Requirements:-
Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC system design, technical review, and supervision. Previous Middle East experience. Experience working with an engineering consultancy firm Good understanding of international HVAC codes and standards, particularly ASHRAE and SMACNA. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of HVAC design calculations, equipment selection, ductwork, ventilation,smoke-management systems. Familiarity with UAE local regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, and Civil Defense codes. Experience reviewing technical submissions, shop drawings, equipment layouts, and material submittals. Strong coordination, technical problem-solving, and communication skills.
