About the Role
We're hiring an experienced Forex Editor / Journalist to join the editorial team of a Forex news website. This is a hands-on newsroom role blending real-time market reporting, technical/fundamental analysis writing, and editorial oversight of forex and financial-markets content.
You'll produce timely, accurate, and engaging coverage of currency markets, central bank policy, and macroeconomic events (plus commodities, indices, and crypto where relevant) — all while meeting editorial and compliance standards.
What You'll Do
- Write and publish timely news on market-moving events (central bank decisions, economic data, geopolitics) as they happen.- Produce technical & fundamental analysis on major, minor, and exotic pairs, including chart-based commentary (support/resistance, trend, key levels).- Cover the economic calendar in real time with rapid-turnaround reports (NFP, CPI, GDP, rate decisions).- Edit, proofread, and fact-check contributor content for accuracy, clarity, and house style.- Maintain a steady cadence: daily market wraps, session outlooks (Asian/European/US), and weekly outlooks.- Ensure compliance with financial publishing standards (disclaimers, no direct investment advice).- Optimize articles for SEO (keywords, headlines, meta descriptions) to grow organic traffic.- Monitor Reuters, Bloomberg, central bank feeds, and financial media for breaking developments.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a financial/forex journalist, editor, or market analyst — published work on a recognized forex/financial platform strongly preferred.- Strong knowledge of the forex market: pairs, macro drivers, central bank policy, market mechanics.- Working knowledge of technical analysis sufficient to write independent pieces.- Excellent written English — clear and accurate under time pressure.- Familiarity with CMS platforms (Word Press or similar) and SEO best practices.- Bachelor's in Journalism, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).- Ability to work independently, hit tight deadlines, and cover assigned trading sessions (may include early morning, evening, or weekend coverage).

- Prior experience at FXStreet, Investing.com, Daily FX, Forex Live, or similar.- Additional language fluency · crypto/commodities familiarity · webcam presenting.
