Job description

1. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the hotel and services. Supplies information and responds to guest queries.
2. Ensures effective handover is done, gaining information from earlier shift.
3. Forwards all guest complaints or problems to the manager on duty.
4. Ensures that phone calls are answered properly and meet standards.
5. Controls all facility car keys.
6. Maintains the parking spaces and key cabinet and ensures cleanliness is at the highest level.
7. Ensures safe access to the destination.
8. Responsible for the cleanliness, fuel status, and periodic maintenance of the vehicle. Takes care of exterior appearance, uniform, cleaning, and behavior.
9. Maintains personal hygiene and professional appearance daily.
10. Complies with all occupational health and safety rules related to vehicle use and facility. Always wears the seatbelt when driving and ensures occupants wear seat belts without issues.
11. Adheres to legally defined speed limits and takes no actions that would jeopardize the safety of life and property of self and passengers.
12. Establishes friendly and honest relationships with all colleagues.
13. Works to develop the facility's image, focusing on creating customer loyalty and satisfaction.
14. Responsible for energy saving.
15. Respects all privacy issues of the hotel's guests and employees and prevents information leakage.
16. Supports the organization of quality management systems, their implementation and development, and ensures progress within the system.
17. Acts according to published procedures and instructions.
18. Anticipates environmental impacts of all activities and purchased equipment, participates in activities organized to protect biodiversity, shares individual responsibilities to increase environmental knowledge, and attends necessary trainings. Aims to minimize consumption of all materials and equipment currently in use (paper, printed items, etc.).
19. Implements necessary warnings and departmental trainings to save energy within the facility. Carries out decisions taken for energy saving. Evaluates environmental effects and energy efficiency of purchased equipment.
20. Fulfills responsibilities to properly eliminate and collect waste, reduce environmental pollution, and minimize harmful effects.
21. Carries out all responsibilities related to the quality management and food safety management systems implemented at the facility.
22. Performs all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.

Qualifications

Education: At least a vocational college diploma.
Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience, 3 years driving license.
Foreign language: Good command of English and Arabic to communicate well.
Courses and training: Not required.
Computer literacy: Not required.
Skills: Expected to use non-standard, specific tools and devices related to the job that can be learned in a few months. Some jobs require technical knowledge of methods, techniques, and work processes in the related field. Expected to know guest profiles, accommodation details, and have basic knowledge of how to address guests. Expected to perform tasks that are similar in kind and content. Requires awareness of other related processes.
