Pharos University in Alexandria is seeking an experienced and results-driven Odoo Project Manager to lead and manage the implementation and deployment of the Odoo ERP system across key university departments, including Procurement, Accounting, Finance, Inventory, and related administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Odoo ERP project, from planning and requirements gathering through Go-Live and post-implementation support.

• Coordinate effectively between university departments, key users, management, and the Odoo implementation/technical team.

• Oversee the implementation and integration of key Odoo modules, particularly Accounting, Purchase, Inventory, Finance, and related modules.

• Manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, priorities, risks, and implementation milestones.

• Supervise user access, roles, approval workflows, and segregation of duties in coordination with the concerned departments.

• Oversee data preparation, validation, migration, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), identify gaps, and ensure that issues are resolved before Go-Live.

• Coordinate user training and ensure that departments are fully prepared for system adoption.

• Monitor system performance and coordinate the resolution of technical and functional issues during and after Go-Live.

• Prepare regular project progress reports, risk assessments, and management updates.

• Bachelor’s degree.

• - 7–10 years of experience as a Project Manager

• Proven experience in project management and Odoo ERP implementation.

• Strong understanding of business processes, particularly Procurement, Accounting, Finance, Inventory, and ERP workflows.

• Practical experience in requirements analysis, process mapping, UAT, data migration, Go-Live, and user training.

• Strong project management, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively with both business users and technical/IT teams.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend effective solutions.

• Experience in educational institutions, large organizations, or complex multi-department environments is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or other recognized project management certification is a plus.

• Experience managing ERP implementation projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders.

• Odoo certification or relevant Odoo implementation training.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
