Role Description The Logistics Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in 10th of Ramadan, focused on coordinating the movement of materials, finished goods, and export shipments. This role involves planning and monitoring daily inbound and outbound deliveries, preparing shipping and export documentation, and ensuring accurate records in logistics and inventory systems. The Logistics Specialist will collaborate with production, warehousing, and customer service teams to align schedules, resolve delivery issues, and maintain service levels. Responsibilities include tracking orders, communicating with carriers and freight forwarders, optimizing routes and costs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The role also requires continuous monitoring of logistics performance, identifying process improvements, and supporting management with regular reports and analysis.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills and customer-focused approach, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners. Analytical skills to interpret logistics data, track KPIs, and support decision-making for routing, costs, and inventory control. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, including coordination of procurement, production, warehousing, and distribution activities. Experience with Export processes, documentation, and regulations relevant to international shipments. Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proficiency with ERP or logistics software and standard office applications (e.g., Excel, spreadsheets, and reporting tools). Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
