Role Description The Credit and Collections Specialist will manage credit assessments, monitor customer accounts, and ensure timely collection of receivables for real estate clients within Somabay’s development portfolio. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing credit applications, analyzing financial data, setting appropriate credit limits, and following up on overdue accounts through phone, email, and written communication. The role involves coordinating with sales, finance, and customer service teams to resolve billing issues, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate records of transactions and collection activities. The specialist will prepare regular reports on aging, collection status, and credit risks to support decision-making. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hurghada.
Qualifications
Strong credit management and finance skills, including experience with credit assessment, account reconciliation, and receivables management. Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify risks, and recommend appropriate credit and collection actions. Customer service and communication skills to handle client inquiries, negotiate payment arrangements, and maintain professional relationships. Previous experience in real estate credit or collections, preferably within a resort, hospitality, or property development environment. Proficiency in relevant accounting or ERP systems and MS Office applications, especially Excel. Ability to work on-site in Hurghada, manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under time pressure. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong attention to detail, integrity, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
