Job Purpose: The Site Civil Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all civil works activities on site to ensure works are carried out safely, according to the defined schedule, and in compliance with the project specifications, quality standards, and approved drawings. The role includes managing workforce productivity, tracking work progress, resolving site issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures. Main responsibilities:supervising and managing daily civil works including: concrete works, formwork, reinforcement shop drawings, excavation, backfill, building works (block), plastering, and finishing works.Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, and QA/QC requirements.Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and foremen to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion.Monitor labor distribution, equipment usage, and material availability to ensure site operations efficiency.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, verify quality, and ensure safety compliance.solve field issues, technical challenges, and any conflicts to avoid delays in implementation.Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) regulations and implement safety procedures for all site workers.Prepare and submit daily progress reports to site management.Contribute to planning site activities, sequencing of works, and identifying risks or potential delays.Review and monitor quantities of works performed for invoicing and material requests, and document the project.Required qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred).Minimum 3 years of experience supervising civil construction works.Strong knowledge of construction and finishing works and on-site execution standards.Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, basic surveying, and material specifications.Strong leadership and communication skills, with problem-solving abilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks on site.Good understanding of safety systems and quality control procedures.Additional details
