Role Description The Facade Quantity Surveyor is a full-time, on-site role based in Egypt. This role involves preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for facade and aluminum works, verifying quantities from drawings and specifications, and coordinating with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate cost projections. The Facade Quantity Surveyor will monitor project costs, assist in cost planning and budgeting, track variations, and prepare regular cost reports for management. Daily tasks include analyzing tenders, supporting contract negotiations from a cost perspective, and maintaining up-to-date records of material, labor, and subcontractor costs. The role also requires close collaboration with site teams to validate progress, manage financial risks, and support decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong cost control and cost management skills for facade and aluminum construction projects. Candidates should possess experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and verification of drawings and specifications. Candidates should possess cost planning capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and value engineering. Candidates should possess cost reporting skills, including preparation of periodic reports, variance analyses, and financial summaries. Relevant bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Experience in façade, curtain wall, or aluminum systems within construction or contracting environments. Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying or estimating software; familiarity with CAD drawings is an advantage. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately under time constraints. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with site, engineering, and commercial teams.
