Job Overview:Alogayell Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced and creative Senior Architectural Designer to join our team at our New Cairo office. The successful candidate must have strong architectural design and technical capabilities, comprehensive knowledge of the Saudi Building Code, and proven experience working on architectural projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves developing projects from the initial concept through detailed design and construction documentation while ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations, client requirements, and international design standards.
Key Responsibilities:-Lead the architectural design process from concept development through detailed design and construction documentation.-Prepare architectural concepts, design presentations, drawings, and technical packages.- Ensure all designs comply with the Saudi Building Code, local municipality requirements, civil defense regulations, accessibility standards, and relevant authority guidelines.-Review client briefs, project requirements, site conditions, and applicable regulations.-Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, landscape, and other engineering disciplines.-Develop accurate architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and specifications.-Review design submissions and ensure their quality, accuracy, and completeness.-Identify and resolve design conflicts and technical coordination issues.-Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and technical coordination meetings.- Support the preparation and submission of building permit and authority-approval packages.-Review shop drawings, material submissions, and contractor technical queries when required.-Guide and review the work of junior architects and architectural team members.-Ensure projects are delivered according to the agreed scope, schedule, quality standards, and client expectations.
Requirements:-Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university.-Minimum of 8 years of relevant architectural design experience, preferably in consultancy firms.- Proven experience working on architectural projects located in Saudi Arabia.-Strong and up-to-date knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and Saudi authority requirements.-Previous experience in commercial, office, hospitality, residential, mixed-use, or institutional projects is preferred.-Strong experience in concept design, design development, detailed design, and construction documentation.-Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and architectural visualization software.- Strong BIM knowledge and multidisciplinary coordination experience.-Excellent design sense, technical judgment, and attention to detail.-Strong communication, presentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.-Good command of written and spoken English.-Ability to manage multiple projects and meet demanding deadlines.
Work Requirements:-This is a full-time, office-based position.-The selected candidate will be required to work from our office in New Cairo, Egypt.-Remote or freelance arrangements are not available for this position.
