Role Description The Technician role at Sabatex Textile is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo. The Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining textile production machinery to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. Daily tasks include performing routine inspections, identifying and troubleshooting equipment issues, adjusting machine settings according to production specifications, and supporting quality checks on fabrics and materials. The role involves working closely with production supervisors and colleagues to meet output targets, minimize downtime, and follow safety and housekeeping standards. The Technician is expected to document basic maintenance activities, report technical issues promptly, and participate in training to stay current with equipment and process updates.
Qualifications

Technical skills in operating and maintaining industrial or textile machinery, with the ability to perform basic mechanical checks and adjustments. Experience in production or manufacturing environments, preferably in textiles, with familiarity in workflow, quality checks, and process documentation. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, including identifying equipment issues and collaborating on practical solutions. Attention to detail and quality, with the ability to follow technical instructions, safety procedures, and production standards accurately. Effective communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to coordinate with supervisors and colleagues in a fast-paced setting. Willingness to work on-site in Cairo in a full-time role, with flexibility for shift work if required. Basic computer literacy for using production systems, recording data, and completing reports. Relevant technical diploma or vocational training in mechanics, textiles, industrial technology, or a related field; prior technician experience is an advantage.
