???? We're Hiring: Infrastructure & Platform Engineer (Junior–Mid Level)
???? Location: Cairo, Egypt (Office-Based)
Within Earth is looking for an Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to join our growing team and help operate our mission-critical production environment that powers more than 1 billion hotel searches every day.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems, learning modern technologies, and building expertise in large-scale production infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and maintain production infrastructure and services
• Manage Linux and Windows virtual machines
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application issues
• Support deployments, releases, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
• Maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and system health checks
• Assist with infrastructure automation and scripting
• Participate in production support activities
Required Skills
✔ Linux and Windows Server administration
✔ Virtualization technologies (XCP-ng, VMware, or Hyper-V)
✔ Networking fundamentals and HAProxy
✔ Database administration fundamentals
✔ Zabbix, Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus
✔ GitHub, CI/CD concepts, and scripting
✔ Docker and Kubernetes knowledge is a plus
✔ Microsoft Azure experience is an advantage

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or system administration
• Experience supporting production environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for learning, automation, and continuous improvement
