Role Description The Reporter role at Electrical Engineering Algeria is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo. The Reporter will research, gather, and verify information related to electrical engineering topics, industry developments, and job market trends, and convert them into clear, engaging news articles and reports. Daily tasks include conducting interviews with professionals and stakeholders, attending relevant events, collaborating with editors and multimedia specialists, and producing written and multimedia content for the platform’s channels. The Reporter will also help maintain content schedules, ensure accuracy and neutrality in reporting, and support the platform’s mission to inform and educate the engineering community. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills for creating accurate, timely, and engaging stories. Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills for interviews, articles, and professional correspondence. Candidates should possess Multimedia skills for collaborating on visual, audio, or digital formats that complement written content. Relevant experience in journalism, technical reporting, or engineering-related media is beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Ability to work on-site in Cairo, meet deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced news and content environments. Strong attention to detail, ethical reporting standards, and familiarity with engineering or technology topics are advantageous.
