About us Labib Funk + Associates (LFA) is Headquartered in El Segundo, with offices in Glendale and Irvine, and has effectively produced and managed the structural design of projects from concept design through construction since 2003. LFA focuses on structural, shoring, civil, and EBM engineering design and consulting and has experience in the design of new structures, renovation of existing structures, and excavation shoring. Position Summary We are hiring Structural Project Manager at all levels in our Cairo office to work on a large variety of interesting U. S. building projects in all market sectors including high-rise building developments and seismic retrofits requiring performance-based design and analysis Lead delivery of complex projects, including high-rise and performance-based design, while managing teams and project execution.
Key Responsibilities Lead structural design and technical delivery Manage and mentor engineers and drafters Review calculations, models, and drawings Coordinate with U. S. teams, architects, and consultants Monitor team efficiency and workload while coordinating with company Principals and internal teams to ensure alignment on project objectives, technical approach, and resource planning Track schedules and project progress Lead coordination meetings and resolve technical issues Oversee RFIs, submittals, and construction support
Qualifications BS in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)10–15 years experience Experience in reinforced concrete, steel, and wood design Leadership and project delivery experience Familiarity with U. S. codes (ACI, ASCE, IBC, NDS) preferred PE license preferred Performance-based design experience a plus ETABS, SAFE (or similar) Strong written and verbal English communication skills
